Little Tokyo – Kikufuji

I love hole in the wall restaurants. And from my visit to Tokyo… Hole in the wall restos are usually the best. Kikufuji has apparently been around for many years, known for their fresh sushi, and sashimi, I would say they have the best authentic Japanese food in the Little Tokyo area in Makati.

The Garden Club.

A couple of friends and I wanted to do a catch up for dinner and a friend mentioned that she wanted to try out Maria Luisa’s at the Makati Garden Club. I had never heard about this resto, but my husband kept raving about it, when he and his business partners had dinner there a few months back. Apparently it’s a quaint little house in the middle of a flourishing garden and it’s right in the middle of Makati.

Not much of a coffee drinker, but when I discovered Toby’s Estate.. How could anyone possibly say no? I heard about this Australian Coffee brand and that it has been the toast of the town for coffee lovers when it opened in New York. And in a City of coffee lovers that’s gotta be a compliment.
